Workroom customer terms
These terms cover website orders placed for the United Kingdom (GB) offer. They are written in plain language and describe what is included, what it costs, and how refunds, cancellation and your domain work.
Who you are buying from
Your website is designed and supported by Loki Digital LLC, trading as Workroom. Questions, change requests and cancellations all go to jo@workroomco.com.
What it costs
£500 setup, paid once, plus any applicable tax. Hosting is £25 per month plus any applicable tax. There is no fixed term.
Monthly hosting starts only after you approve the exact final revision of your site and that revision has been published and checked. It does not start while your site is still in review.
What the setup includes
- One responsive, English-language business page, of up to six sections.
- Your business information as you approve it, and images you supply or are licensed to use.
- Your services and opening hours, your contact links, and a link to your existing booking service.
- A basic page title and description, HTTPS, and connecting your domain.
Not included
Online shops and payments, a new booking system, custom applications, business email, and ongoing marketing are outside this offer. Nothing chargeable is added to your order automatically. No promise is made about search ranking, booking volume, uptime, or any accessibility certification.
Delivery
The target is a final review within five business days after your setup payment is confirmed and the content and access needed to build the page have been received. Business days mean Monday to Friday, excluding US federal holidays, using New York time.
Two consolidated rounds of corrections are included. Factual mistakes introduced by Workroom are corrected separately and do not use up one of your rounds. Work outside the agreed scope is noted and held rather than billed or promised.
If you go quiet, delivery pauses. Silence is never treated as approval. If a required input is still missing after 30 days, the unlaunched order is closed and the setup payment is refunded in full.
Ongoing support
While hosting is paid, you get one consolidated batch of up to three small text, image or link changes each month. This does not cover redesigns or new functionality, and an unused batch does not carry over to the next month. Requests are acknowledged within two business days, with a target of five business days to complete included edits. Faults in work Workroom delivered are fixed separately from your monthly batch.
Refunds
Before your approved site is published, you can cancel at any time and receive the full setup payment back, including tax collected, to your original payment method. The same applies if Workroom cannot deliver the agreed scope.
After your approved site has been published, a change of mind does not normally refund the delivered setup. If the agreed scope was not delivered, that failure is fixed first; if it cannot be put right, the setup payment is refunded. These terms do not exclude rights that apply to the transaction under the law that covers it.
Refunds are returned to the original payment method. A refund can show as pending while it is processed, so no arrival date at your bank is promised.
Cancelling hosting
Cancel by contacting jo@workroomco.com. No reason is needed. A request received before the next renewal takes effect stops that renewal, even if it is processed afterwards. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your paid period and your site stays online through the date you have already paid for.
There is no fixed term. A part-used month is not refunded by default as a change of mind, but a renewal charged in error after a timely cancellation request is refunded. If you cancel before launch, no subscription is created at all.
Your domain
One available, standard non-premium .com, .co.uk or .uk domain is included, along with its ordinary renewal while hosting remains paid. The exact name and price are confirmed with you before anything is registered; if a name is not suitable or available, another included name or a Workroom subdomain is offered.
The domain is registered with your business as the named owner, and Workroom manages it while you are hosted. If you already have a domain, it stays with its owner: only the limited DNS changes needed are requested, and existing email records are preserved. You are never asked to share a registrar password.
No new domain is registered until you approve and publication is ready. If publication cannot go ahead after a domain has been registered, Workroom absorbs that cost and nothing is deducted or charged to you.
Leaving
Workroom charges no transfer-out fee. A gaining registrar or provider may charge its own renewal or transfer cost, quoted independently by them, and that cost is explained before you choose it. Registry locks can delay a transfer, and UK-family domains use an IPS-tag process; where a lock delays things, Workroom keeps administering the domain and helps complete the transfer without adding hosting charges. A domain is not renewed or charged for after paid hosting ends unless you arrange that separately.
On leaving, you receive a downloadable archive: the approved static HTML, CSS and assets, your content, and notes on the DNS and booking configuration. You may use and modify the delivered site elsewhere. Workroom keeps its own reusable templates and tools. Third-party assets keep their own licences, with their source noted, and anything that cannot lawfully transfer is replaced. Account credentials, other customers' data and the Workroom billing and outreach systems are not part of the handover. Any external booking service your page links to stays with that provider.
